Walter Borns

Another class mate has passed on! May his memory be eternal. I also remember growing up with his wife and her twin.

Walter spent long hours in the store, but still had time to pay attention to the people that came through. A young neighbor getting ready for prom that needed help tying a tie, another young man that worked for him and he gave wise advice about the importance of seeing work to be done and doing it without being told and often times a friendly smile and advice on what meat to buy telling the patron "Don't cheap out if it's a guest." Walter will be missed as a strong leader of how life should...

I knew Walt for many years beginning as a child. He lived on Shettler down from my grandparents and believe that his parents were members of Cloverville Grange of which my parents were also members. He went on to graduate with me from MHHS. MANY years ago!!!! Esther Anderson Block
