Not sure what to say?

Kali, this is donOvan, I was Walt's barber for a few years, and did quite a bit of electrical work around his place in Volcano. He treated me very well, and my 4 year old son who helped me with the wiring,,,,he wa So Kind and Generous, and Interesting I still think of him once in awhile donOvan, in the Sacramento area these days, [email protected]

The picture of Walt is exactly how I picture him when I think of him, a smile, a funny story, and always respectful. I will always remember Walt and his love of animals and the animals knew he loved them, his salt lick in the backyard for the local deer. I am so sorry for your loss, and I am sure you have many wonderful memories to help you through this difficult time. You are in our thoughts and our prayers, Jim, Maria & Allie Prawdzik

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I pray in the midst of your sorrow you find comfort in all the joyful memories shared and will always cherish these beautiful memories . Romans 15:13 -

Another legendary SFPD cop has passed away. Rest in peace.

Rest in Peace Walt!

Walt and my husband, Renzo, were partners "way-back-when".
Walt was an unique local.
Marriage, fatherhood and Volcano "mellowed" him.
Another bites the dust...Marilyn Panelli

Tucker, and I will miss Walt on our morning walks. Rest In Peace.

Walter Braunschweig was a retired member of
the SFPD and one of the seven original members
of the canine (dog) unit. His dog was Wotan and
the two of them captured a lot of "Bad Guys".
Whether or not it was construction or police
work, Walter did a great job.

Rest in Peace Old Friend,

Ken Foss
Retired SFPD (Also former colleague of Walt's)
