Walter Robert Breen

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this sad time. I remember Walter as Uncle Wally and enjoyed spending time with him and Aunt Pat when I was a child. My "Dad" was Uncle Wally's brother Eddie and I have fond memories of joining the Breen family when my mom married Eddie. Uncle Wally always made my sister and I feel a part of the family and we thoroughly enjoyed his friendship through the years. I was sad to hear of his passing and will always remember him.

My sincere sympathy and condolences go to the entire Walter Breen family. My remembrances of Wally go back a few years, in fact to the 1940's when I lived two houses away from Wally. We spent many hours together along with about a dozen other "kids" that lived in the block bounded by 1st.& 2nd, Streets and between Garfield & Lloyd Streets. I worked for Wally as his helper on his Journal Paper Route and have a lot of happy remembrances of Wally and the entire gang from those long ago days....
