Not sure what to say?

The Shoenbruns were our next door neighbors when I was growing up in Colorado Springs, and Mark was my schoolmate at Audubon and Wasson. We used to enjoy receiving Mr. Brooks's humor-filled holiday letter every year. My deepest condolences to the family.

Our deepest condolences to you and your family, Harriet. Walter was such a fixture for us here in our neighborhood---I thought fondly of him and his ready smile each time I walked the dogs and saw the newspapers outside your house. My sincere sympathies and wishes for the Peace that Passeth All Understanding to be upon you all .during this difficult time.

Mr. Brooks was a customer of Ackley's Rocks and Stamps for years, and when I would see him from the door, in the parking lot, I would open the door for him, and we greeted each other.
It's been over 2 and a half years since I have worked at Ackley's, but I have fond memories of Mr. Brooks through all the years that I had known him, and he truly will be missed by many.
God Bless You, Mr. Brooks!!
I always enjoyed your smiling face and calm demeanor!

Dear Harriet and Family,
My love and prayers are with you at this time. I remember many fun times playing bridge with you and Wally. Smile, tomorrow will be a brighter day and you know that he is safe and happy. Catherine Ball

Judy, my thoughts are with you and yours at this sad time. What a great man your father was.

With my Dad gone I knew I could always turn to Walter to ask any questions about the family and what it was like growing up together. I still remember the story he told me that the only reason my dad got hot food was because Aunt Rose cooked and Walter passed it across the driveway. Walter was a gentle soul who has always been a part of my life. I will miss him. May you all be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Yerushalayim, Cousin Marcia
