My Father was a unique individual who lived two very special and different lives. This was clearly evidenced by the two very different events held in his honor this last Suday and Monday. Which is why I want to express myself here. I never told my dad he was my hero. He was the one who taught myself, my sisters and brother to soar like eagles. Grandpa Walt was a great man. Always a smile on his face and cheerful demeanor and positive attitude. He made you feel special no matter how many people filled the room, and with the size of our family, we've filled many rooms with him. Holidays and family events won't be the same without him, but he will be there with us in spirit for sure. He lived a full and adventurous life, and for that I am not sad, but extremely grateful. I'm so sorry for the passing of Uncle Red...he was a sweet man and had a wonderful family that I am lucky to be a part of. Hugs to everyone......

Mickey, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Although I had not seen you or your family in many years I still have the memories from Walnut Creek Days. Keeping everyone in my prayers , I can tell that you had a really close family. You have my condolences.

Walt, amazing, kind, and caring. You will be missed by so many. I will miss your smile, warmth and loving ways. May God bless you and all who mourn your passing.
