Not sure what to say?

My Father was a unique individual who lived two very special and different lives. This was clearly evidenced by the two very different events held in his honor this last Suday and Monday. Which is why I want to express myself here. I never told my dad he was my hero. He was the one who taught myself, my sisters and brother to soar like eagles. He was then and forever will be the wind benith our wings.
I am sure his grand childeren, adopted grandchilderen and other will rembember him for...

WaltI've been thinking awhile about you since you passed on and about what I wanted to write about on this guest book. (Passed on; I heard a hospice nurse say some people like to say 'crossed the river'that reminded me of you, of course). I was up in the middle of the night last night (again, my 2 year old likes to keep things real : ) and it came to me: even though you were much older than me, I never thought about you as "old". Even in the final years of your life when it was technically...

Grandpa Walt was a great man. Always a smile on his face and cheerful demeanor and positive attitude. He made you feel special no matter how many people filled the room, and with the size of our family, we've filled many rooms with him. Holidays and family events won't be the same without him, but he will be there with us in spirit for sure. He lived a full and adventurous life, and for that I am not sad, but extremely grateful. Love you Grandpa Walt.

I'm so sorry for the passing of Uncle Red...he was a sweet man and had a wonderful family that I am lucky to be a part of. Hugs to everyone......

Mickey, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Although I had not seen you or your family in many years I still have the memories from Walnut Creek Days. Keeping everyone in my prayers , I can tell that you had a really close family. You have my condolences.

Walt, amazing, kind, and caring. You will be missed by so many. I will miss your smile, warmth and loving ways. May God bless you and all who mourn your passing.

To Lyn and family, Walt was always so kind and possessed such wisdom. You are in my prayers.

Mickey, Sheyl, Tom and Jeanie and families,
So sorry for the loss of your Dad, a truly awesome being. It's been many years since we have met but we still will be neighbors forever. May the Lord give you peace and ease your pain.
Love, Marla

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know your dad was a big part of your life Sheryl. I pray that God is with you during this time and reminding you of all the blessed times you shared together.
