Not sure what to say?

So sorry to see you go old firend.

I knew Trey in our high school and college years. We met in Sewanee/Monteagle. We dated on and off during that time, although I was in Nashville and Memphis. He was kind and gentle and had the most amazing smile. I am so very sorry to hear of his death.

David, I had the delight of knowing the Bryants at Sewanee. My husband and Walter were in the same class there, as were Trey and my son Jim. My heartfelt sympathy goes to you. Anne Sherman

David, I am heartbroken. I just heard about your dad last night. He and I knew each other as kids, as roommates at Sewanee, and on several trips to the Masters. Great memories of your dad! World´s greatest laugh!!

My memories of Trey were from our friendship through Church of the Apostles. We served on the vestry together at one point during the construction of the church at its present site. Trey was a person whose heart was big and he was always a loving and caring friend and met you with a hug and a smile! He will surely be missed by all who knew him! Blessings to the family! Great Sewanee man and friend....though I have not seen in a long time, will miss him. App

David, I met you once at Shenanigans, when you and your dad came to Sewanee for your grandfather´s funeral. I loved your dad. He treated me like a protective big brother, always funny, always sweet. I´m so glad I got to see him this past July 4th.

Thank you David for this wonderful tribute to your Dad, and my good friend and former Sewanee teammate, "Treybo." Too many funny stories and fond memories to share here, but I take comfort in the feeling that somewhere Trey is having a good laugh with "Daddy Walter" and "Miss Polly," giving a big hug to his sister "Tassie," tossing a tennis ball or a half-eaten ice cream cone to his dog Astro, and making plans to go fishing with our mutual buddy Paty Daves. Rest well, my brother! Dan...

My sincere condolences to David. Your father and I were childhood friends and our dads coached together. Prayers for your healing
