One time when I worked at St Charles Parish, I got a call at Christmastime from a young woman who lived down the street. She had been over at her neighbor's to borrow a few diapers when a car with a St Charles couple pulled into her driveway. They said nothing but started unloading boxes of groceries on her porch. When she saw two cases of diapers, she burst into tears. When they finished, the guy -- Walt Carlson -- saluted her and they drove off. When she called me she was sobbing, saying...

Lots of great memories of all the good times that were had growing up, too many to mention, but will never be forgotten. So sorry for your loss, his was a life well lived, well loved. God bless all of you guys.
