So sorry to hear about Walter's passing. Jan and I want to pass on our condolences to his family. I grew up with his family in Twin Lake.

Chester Family, I had the pleasure of working with Walt in the pipe shop at the SD Warren paper-mill. He was always a good natured man and very proud of his family. My condolences to you all.

As my brother-in-law, I spent a lot of time on there asparagus farm in Shelby. They always had an amazing garden every year. We always called him Red! He was such a jokester. It was wonderful that his youngest daughter Kim was able to bring him home and care for him lovingly to the very end. Such a great loss to their family.

He was my father's, Richard Chester, younger brother. Walt and his wife were good people to be around; plus, he had a good sense of humor. Sorry to hear about his passing.

So sorry for your loss. I loved hearing his laughter. Kim did a wonderful job caring for him in his last days! What a blessing to have him home...
