Walter Leonard Clark, Jr. age 69 passed away Wednesday November 10, 2021 at his home.


Mr. Clark was born in Smyth County, VA to the Walter L. Clark, Sr. and Elizabeth Romans Clark and was preceded in death by his brothers Al and Dave Clark and his sister Becky Trent.  He served in the US Army and worked for Daniels Construction as the general manager.  He enjoyed race cars, riding bulls, hunting and fishing.


Survivors include his wife of 47 years Peggy Clark; two sons, Rusty Clark and Travis Clark; brother, Michael Clark of Marion; sisters, Cathy Clark of Rural Retreat, Robin Tisdale of Chesnee, SC; grandchildren, Rayven and Jasmine Clark; several nieces and nephews also survive.


Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Monday November 15, 2021 at Rosewood Memorial Gardens in Rural Retreat, VA with Pastor Mike Sage officiating.  Military Honors will be rendered by the Francis Marion VFW Post 4667 and the US Army Honor Guard. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Spinal Injury Association 9702 Gayton Road Suite 306 Richmond, VA 23238. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com.  Bradley’s Funeral Home is serving the Clark family.
