Walter Scott Coon Jr.

I had Mr. Coon in 6th grade at Mapleshade Elementary School. I remember him reading us the story of John Kennedy in PTO 109. He always had his thermos of coffee on his desk. He had a great memory. Years later he came to my lab for blood work. He remembered me. He also remembered my parents coming to open house. He was a great teacher.

Mr Coon was my World History at Birchland Park Jr High. My condolences to his family

Mr. Coon was my History teacher at Birchland Park Jr. High in the early 70's. His classroom was a place I felt safe and comfortable in, as well as being well taught in geography! His strength, order, and kindness remains a good memory for me of Jr. High. Thank you Mr. Coon for being a wonderful teacher.

It was sad to see that Mr. Coon passed away, I have such fond memories of him as my teacher at Birchland Park Jr. H.S. I pray that your memories give you Peace during this difficult time. God Bless!
