Walter was not only a wonderful educator, but also a terrific person. I have rarely seen an administrator as well loved and admired as Walter was, by those who worked with and for him. My father always spoke very highly of Walter, and my interactions with him were always warm and friendly. He made a difference, and he certainly will be missed.
