Gone but not forgotten my friend...

Grateful for the opportunity to remember my friend Walt. He and his buddy, Jim S., were there for me in my early sobriety, and now, 41 years later, I still say things and practice things, I learned from them. Thanks, Walt...rob w., Oregon.

Reading the commets below and viewing the photos, Memories have come to the surface. My favorite Walt quote: "The two greatest powers in the world are the power of Prayer and the power of example." I use that often when working with a new person. I'll never forget my friend Walter. Thanks.

I miss you Walter. Yes, you and "The Gang" were very helpful and instrumental in my path of recovery. I must have looked so fearful walking through those doors. You where a great supportive friend. Thank You.

A wonderful man. Will truly miss him

My condolences to Walter's family and friends. He was a dear friend and mentor to me for over twenty three years until I moved away from Akron. His example in AA and in AA service was exemplary. I miss him.

I'm sure going to miss you my friend. You were a great help to me through the years. God bless.
