Not sure what to say?

Paula- My deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers are for you and the boys.It was my pleasure to take care of John as his RT in the hospital. You are such a caring and wonderful person and you have very special angels to watch over you and the boys. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers for a long time to come. May the peace of the Lord be with you.

I read about Walt's passing in Jo Mathis' column for the Ann Arbor News on Tuesday, February 22. I was shocked and saddened. I was one of the nurses who took care of Walt after his big surgery in March 2003 by Dr. Orringer. It was a pleasure and an inspiration to care for him. I was always so impressed by his family's strength and passion for life in the face of so much adversity. I know Paula has nourished that strength all along and I have great faith that in time she and her sons will...

I took care of Walt 2 years ago on 4C at UofM. Walt and his family impressed me with their strength and ability to turn negative things into a positive. There have been times I have seen Paula at the stores and have enjoyed finding out how the entire family was doing. In the short period of time that I took care of Walt, he kept me laughing and always looking for ways to improve the situation. Walt will always be remembered.

I used to work at RN Communications and had the pleasure to work with Walt. I was saddened to hear of his passing and send my deepest heartfelt sympathies to the entire Crosby family and to the RN family. I know he will be missed. Paula

Paula,

I was so sad when my father called to let me know that Walt had died. I can't believe it. I will never forget the wonderful days we shared on the beach in Port Huron or the many fun times in Ann Arbor.
The entire Crosby family will be in my prayers.

Julie

Dear Paula,Walter and Henry,
What a loving testimony to a life well lived in the eyes of God and in the eyes of men! May you continue to look to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the perfector of our faith. " He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ."(Phil. 1:6) In His love, Sally Sue

I was so sorry to hear of Walt's death. His sense of humor was what I remember most about him. As our telephone vendor for South Lyon Schools he was always great to work with. My prayers go out to you.

My brother was a true inspiration in the belief of trusting God. My brother has taught me to fight and to trust in God above all things; even though, we do not always know what He has planned for us. My brother and his wonderful family could have given up, but instead followed the path. I will miss my brother; however, I know he is in a better place. My prayers to Paula, Walter and Henry and May God continue to lead them and bless them everyday.

I am a parent of a Scout in Walter Jr.'s Boy Scout troop, and though I did not know Walter Sr. personally, I feel for the loss of him to his family and the Scout community. Walter Jr. certainly embodies so many of the fine qualities of his father, which I hope can give him some comfort in the future. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May you experience peace with your sorrow as Walter is gently carried home to his heavenly father. -- Sue Seitz
