Not sure what to say?

Ah, Walt--he was one of my favorite people at the UCLA co-op where we both lived in the early '70s. Solid politics, fine taste in music, sweet-tempered, and funny as hell at parties, when he often assumed the role of a pirate king. I hadn't seen Walt in decades, but he obviously continued living a useful life. Fair winds and following seas, Captain Crowe

Just found out about Walter’s passing. A shock, such a nice person. I have only known him for about 9 years after the passing of our mutual friend Peter Fogg. But we have enjoyed lunches with interesting discussions these past years. Rest In Peace Walter. Heaven will have MGs.

Walter was a wonderful man. He had the biggest heart and was interested in everything. His cousins will miss him greatly.

Glad Walter was my friend during Peace Corps and all the years afterward. I'll really miss.

Condolences to Walters family. Walter was an honorary member of our family and we have fond memories of July 4th and Thanksgiving celebrations with him as well as frequent movie outings. He was kind and had a good sense of humor. He was also an honorary grandpa to our dog Savannah. He will be missed!

It is with great sadness that we learned of Walter's passing. John Muir High School Class of '63 has lost another outstanding classmate. RIP Walter!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
