Not sure what to say?

We loved Wayne very much and considered him to be a great friend. He was always so kind and warm to everyone he met and was always offering to do anything for his friends and neighbors in Happy Jack. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his daughter and family. He will be greatly missed.

Wayne's positive attitude and friendly nature will be missed around the Happy Jack Elk Lodge. Everyone would "rise to the occasion" (especially Gus) whenever he would come by.

The Happy Jack community will truly miss Wayne, that big smile and the ready to help hand of his. His timing for showing up just at the right time to help will never be forgotten. I always have admired his love for art and jewelry projects. His work was wonderful. He always had something he was working on and ready to show his progress. We even met up with him in Quartzsite, AZ while he was doing a get supplies run. How fortunate for me to have known him. My condolences to Wayne’s...

I met Wayne a while back, but really felt like I got to know him well in this last year. I looked forward for his pop in style visits. Always the gracious guest, and well timed for when a game of horse shoes was about to begin or the game on TV was about to start.
Wayne was well known for always having himself a brand new truck. This summer I gave him a ride in mine, and not to be outdone he drove down to town the next morning and got himself one just like it the next day.
His...

God Bless You Wayne. Rest In Peace!

Rose and I believe we are very fortunate to have met and visited with Wayne when he dropped by John and Lynn's cabin for a visit or dinner. We will always remember Wayne as a very outgoing and loving person. I will always remember Wayne for the precious Silver Bear Claw necklace he had given to me during one of our visits. Wayne told me that whenever I wore the bear claw I would be protected as it was very powerful. To this day I wear the bear claw from time to time and especially when I...

I will remember Wayne as the life of the party. It was just last October we were talking about having a big 80th birthday celebration. He thought we should have something grand, only fitting for such a friend to us all.
I will toast his life and only hope that ours will be half as full. We will miss you dear friend. Always in our hearts, Roxanne & Dale Darling

We so enjoyed Wayne's visits as he dropped by Lynn and John's cabin while we were there visiting. He was always warm and friendly and made us feel welcome at Happy Jack.
He has gone home to be with his wife and the Lord. He brought much happiness to the community. God Bless!
Wally & Marilyn Darling, Lynn Rendler's parents.

Wayne will always accompany me when I "shop" at Quartzsite. I regret there had not been more opportunities for me to share his company but am very grateful for the memories I am lucky enough to have!

Elk Hunt December 2009

Wayne was an exceptional friend and neighbor that we were honored to come to know. We enjoyed the occasions when Wayne would drop by to say hello and chit chat. Gus, our dog, would be at his truck door before it came to a stop to get a milk bone that Wayne would always carry with him. Wayne would always have that one part you needed to complete your project, so you wouldn't have to run to the hardware store. Our elk hunting camp will never be the same without Wayne's big grin on his face,...
