Walt was one of the most caring people I have ever met in my life. He never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone. I am sorry for your loss he will be deeply missed by everyone.

Uncle Walt and my dad are two of the finest men I have ever known. Uncle Walt's bravery in life, as well as the military, is beyond compare. The most important things in his life were God and family. I am blessed to have many good memories from the times I spent with him. My wife loved him like one of her own uncles. He never failed to ask how her family was doing. Zach liked to call him Uncle Salt. He had more concern for others than himself. He loved and cared about everyone. He was blessed...

Uncle Walt was a special man. He was a loving and caring man. He was a great writer. I will always remember the eulogy he gave at my cousins funeral who was also a marine and a captain in law in force meant. He was loving great uncle to my children and had a special spot for my daughter. I can only dream your are reunited with your wife and family and my Dad Jerry Murphy. Rest In Peace Uncle Walt.

Thanks for your service. May you rest in peace.
