Walt was one of the most caring people I have ever met in my life. He never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone. I am sorry for your loss he will be deeply missed by everyone.

Uncle Walt and my dad are two of the finest men I have ever known. Uncle Walt's bravery in life, as well as the military, is beyond compare. The most important things in his life were God and family. I am blessed to have many good memories from the times I spent with him. My wife loved him like one of her own uncles. He never failed to ask how her family was doing. Uncle Walt was a special man. He was a loving and caring man. He was a great writer. I will always remember the eulogy he gave at my cousins funeral who was also a marine and a captain in law in force meant. He was loving great uncle to my children and had a special spot for my daughter. I can only dream your are reunited with your wife and family and my Dad Jerry Murphy. Rest In Peace Uncle Walt.
