Rest in Peace Mr Debes . You were a true gentleman!! Godspeed

Walt, you will always have a place in our hearts as a friend and mentor. I would have never joined the VFW if I hadn't met you. You showed me what lifelong service looks like, and inspired Phoenix to volunteer. You will be greatly missed!!!

We are friends of Pat Carroll and we´re so sorry to hear of Walt´s passing. When we first met him we told him he would have to be Walt 2,since we already had a Walt. We spent many fun times with him and always had dinner in the keys together. My Walt taught him the mailman song if you never heard it ask Pat. Again our condolences

To Walter Debes' Family....i had the pleasure of working with Walt at Bustleton Station for a couple years in the 80's before moving on...Walt was one of many who were old schooled...did the job the way it was meant to be...Customer Service was upmost important to him...Walt was one of the many great carriers to inspire younger employees and I thank him for that along with the others at Bustleton...there was no place in Philly like that office...hard work and fun were the everyday life and I...

A really great guy worked with him for 25+yrs.He did a lot of good in his life that was noticed. Will miss him for breakfast
