Not sure what to say?

Thanks from Germany to maestro Ducloux. 0n Aug. 6th, 1948 he conducted the North-West-Philharmonic Orchestra in Bad Pyrmont, Germany. He opened the "Music festival 1948" with the "Feuervogel-Suite" by Igor Strawinski. German Cinema Newsreel did a report on this event. We are so greatful for his kind gesture so shortly after WW!! He helped to heal the wounds of war.

I am just now finding this years after hearing about Dr. Ducloux's death. I was so blessed to have been under his baton at the University of Texas at Austin as an opera student. He fascinated us with his wonderful conducting and coaching of Die Fledermaus, and personally I am so indebted to him for choosing me to be Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni. What musical riches he offered us, and how we loved him. God bless you, his family. He is not forgotten.

Dr. Ducloux was director of the USC Orchestra while I was a student. I listened to him on the Metropolitan Opera broadcasts. He was so very funny and SO very expert.
He was a memorable and fascinating character, and will remain so.
Sincerely,
Joseph Gold

I never knew you, but I know your son quite well and he's continuing your legacy.

Thank you, Dr. Ducloux.

Thank you for the beauty you brought to this world.
