Dear Mrs. Lytell:
Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss of your father. I had the privilege of knowing and working with him years ago when I was Islip Town Supervisor.
He touched many people’s lives and will be missed ay all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a giant in the field of education on Long Island and left a major mark in the development of the Sachem School District and an incredible level of accomplishment.

I'm sorry I missed Mary and Walter's funerals. Until today, I was not aware they had died. They were both beautiful people, sweet and good neighbors. They will be missed.

Mr.(I always called him Mr.) Dunham.
He hired me in 1966 and I remained a
Sachem employee until I retired in
1995.I was very happy to see him two
years ago at Waverly. May he rest in peace. I will always remember him.
