Walter E. Ellensohn

My family knew Walter for many years, starting with our house on Bayview Avenue and my grandparents house on Lincoln Boulevard. He practically built the house on Copper Beech Place, making many alterations and additions to make the hiuse more liveable. We were very fond of Walter and I am sad just finding out that he died just a few months after my dad. RIP Walter.

Many years have passed but it doesn't mean forgotten. My younger child hood is full of memories of the entire family. May all the family know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember climbing over the fence to the Ellenshon's house from 104 Stevens Ave. Such great memories of your family! Keep the memories going and love to all!

I remember Walter from the early 1980's when I was a teenager. I often still think of a funny story that happened In the summer of 1980 or 81 that still makes me laugh out loud after over 30 years.
I would go 24 years without seeing Walter, until I joined the American Legion in 2006. After I introduced myself, our conversation continued as if we seen each other the day before.
