Walter F. Ersing Ph.D.

My deepest condolences to the family. Dr Ersing was one of the most genuine people I ever met. I was able to get to know him during the time I worked at Nisonger Center (1983-2011), and so admired his work ethic and caring fun-loving personality. Such a wonderful influence to so many students and co-workers over the years. He provided so many of us with wonderful lasting memories. He will be greatly missed. Prayers of support to the family

I have so many fond memories of Walter. He was so very fond of each of you and your children. I loved so very much hearing about all the Ersings in his Christmas card each year. Walters love for Maryalyce was evident in each correspondence we had over the years. I also know of his deep faith in God and his looking forward to joining him.

I read with a sad heart that Walter passed away. My friends and I met Walter at the Ohio State Fair Grounds on a hot Saturday afternoon in July 2016 at a car show. He had driven a nice looking 65 Ford Galaxy onto the grounds and parked next to us. It didn't take long before we and Walter found ourselves together to while away the afternoon.
