Walt was one of my best friends, growing up. Our families were very close, and did lots of fun family gatherings and events together. His parents were like parents to Sonya (my sister) and me. His father sang like an angel and his mother was one. I cannot remember ever seeing Walt when he did not have a smile on his face. He was always upbeat and friendly. I will treasure those memories and will always admire him for who he was and all the good he brought into the world.
