Not sure what to say?

To the whole Esch family.

Walter's kindness and caring are what made living and raising kids(Marc and Elizabeth Weiser) in Barton so special. He will be missed.

Walter made himself available to help everyone in Barton Hills - I will always remember him overseeing the volunteer firemen; plowing snow; planting asparagus and rhubarb; driving the bus and raising a large family. He's a man who holds a special place in many hearts ...

David-Jan / Wayne-Debra,
Sorry to hear of Walters passing. He always had that smile and that sly grin of his was welcoming. He was a friend and it was a pleasure to have known him the past 40+ years. My visits to Barton Hills won't be the same without him.

To Wayne and the Esch family. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. Walter was such a nice man and knew my late wife Wendy's family (Gosling on Corrie Rd) very well. They always felt safe under his watch and he was a delight to talk to. He will be missed!
