To our uncle wally, we will miss you everyday. We look at Callie and even though it is impossible we think she looks like you. I am sorry she will never know what it is to be hugged by you but she will know who her great uncle wally is. Thank you for all your support, your advice, your kindness and your love. Thank you for sitting on the side of the pool so I could swim for hours and hours and thank you for the milk.

Dear ChiChi, David & Joy,
I will miss Wally so very much, there is a hole in my heart. Wally was very special to me as he was with Mom & Dad. Remember how he enjoyed the sing-alongs with Dad. I can hear him singing and laughing. I think he is sitting with Dad, and others that have gone before having a sing-along right now, Dad on the guitar, Wally singing.

I will always cherish the memory of Uncle Wally spending hours with me as a child. He was kind and patient and humored me time and time again when I asked him to sing “There is a Happy Land” over and over….
