Not sure what to say?

Been a long time since Walter walked with us... still remembered as a most unique individual.... He will never be forgotten....not sure if anyone will see this, but either way we all know his passing was a dark day for many people...... his laughter will always hold a place in my heart

Hey Walter,
I got an email alert that your on-line condolence book was going to go offline. I used to work at the Long Island Shelter from 1989 to 1996 and always remember when you worked the Detail there. you almost always brought coffee and donuts and it was great listening to your stories. You told me how you worked with my Uncle Dennis when he was with BPD. I left to Massachusetts to join the Border Patrol in 1996 and from time I'd call you and you were always very encouraging. I...

My thoughts and prayers are with the Fahey family. Officer Fahey spoke to my class in the Plymouth Police Academy in 1997. We were all honored to have him teach our class. RIP Officer Fahey

To the Fahey Family, I am so sorry to hear of Walter's passing. I didn't find out until today, otherwise I would been there in person to offer my condolences. Walter was a great guy, and fine role model to the youth of Dorchester. He was one of the best guys I ever met, and I was
honored to have him as my friend. I had the privilege of working with both Walter, and Gerard with the Carney Hospital Security Staff. He will be missed. You and your family are in our Prayers.

Marie. My sympathy to you and your family on the death of Walter. At OLA
we would chat after mass and he always had a story to tell. The homeless at Shattuck will miss him and the food he managed to dig up for them. I am certain that he is now in a better place, a place that we all desire. May God bless all of you.

I just heard of officer Walters passing on the local cable show Call The Cops ,and was deeply saddened to learn of his death.im a 46 yr old Dorchester kid to whom officer Facey made a great influence on me when i was growing up arond St. Peters in the 70's.He was always very good to my mother when my father would have a bit to much at the Rover or The Blarney.Dorchester has truely sent an angel to God.Rest In Peace Walter.

Dear Marie and Family, I was so sorry to hear about Walter's death. One of my friends saw the article in the Boston Globe and saw my Dad (Frank Venuti) mentioned in the article and called asking me if my Dad had a partner named Walter Fahey and I said yes, why and then she told me that he has passed away. I was so saddened to hear this as he was always a great friend and partner of my Dad's and when my Dad got Alzheimers he was so wonderful helping me and my husband Dave sort through things...

Auntie Marie and Family,
I still can't believe Uncle Walter is gone. I keep talking about him to my co-workers and friends about all of the wonderful things he has done for so many people. I am so proud to be able to say "Walter Fahey is my uncle". I love him and miss him so much already.
Hugs and kisses,

Tina
