Not sure what to say?

Walt left a big impact on me as an athlete at Sugarloaf and influenced my development as a coach. Buzz Bean

I have been thinking about Walt for the last ten years off and on. In McCall Idaho he was one of our PNSA alpine ski coaches during our high school years in the late 70's. Walt was a great person, and an excellent coach. He showed us some special downhill techniques that made a huge difference. I will always remember him as a great friend, person, and coach. God speed Walt, thanks for the memories...

Johnny and Walt's daughters: I'm sorry for the belated condolences. I found out about Walt's death just recently. Walt and I were good friends for a while in high school, especially in the summer around swim meets. He and I got together briefly at the last reunion, and he is in my thoughts forever. Bob Hough

To Brianna and family,
We are sorry for the loss of your grandfather and father. You are in
our thoughts and prayers. With our deepest sympathy. The LeBlanc Family.

So sorry to hear of Walts passing....he was a classmate of mine in Boise High....a great skier and handsome/smart/fun living kid...he will stay that way in my memory.

Walt once was a coach and a mentor to me. Later he and I spent time racing and traveling together and he became a very close and special friend to me. Through the years and our paths in life we didn't get together very often, but when we did we certainly broke the fun barrier.

My condolences to his family and please know that Walter's memory will live on with and through me.

Spent time with Dave and Walt during Hight school. Sorry about his passing.

I spent a lot of time with brother David and Walt kind of hung around. Sorry about his passing.
