I bought a painting of his - a piece from the Escape of the Flowers series - in 1982, while an undergrad at UT. It was extraordinary! I saw it from halfway down the drag and it pulled me in like an extremely colorful black hole. The attraction was so intense I would not be surprised if passersby heard loud sucking sounds. I was so pleased to find this beautiful piece of art in a local sale. I wanted to research the artist and came across this obituary. I was sorry to read that Mr. Falk has passed but wanted to share that his work continues to inspire and will be so happy to have this in my home now that I know more about his life.
