You will be richly rewarded for your devotion and "going the extra mile" for your parents these past several years. Speaking from experience, we know it will certainly be a big change for you now as you adjust to a new lifestyle. God bless each of you!

What sticks out to me as I reflect on your fathers life is that he was a man of integrity! I think your father was a friend of everyone in Roanoke!! I saw him walking to and from work so many times in my childhood. He was always happy and whistling... in fact I remember we referred to him as Whistling Walt. You are a close family and your love and commitment to your parents has been a wonderful testimony to our community. Our prayers are with you. God bless!

Walt will be truly missed. My fondest memories are of the welding shop when I was growing up. We were always welcome for a warm handshake a good conversation. Our hearts and prayers are with his family during this time. Peace be with all of you.
