Not sure what to say?

I knew SGM Flammond when he served as SGM of Troop Command, Ft Huachuca in the late 1980's and when he later became SGM, G1, HQ Army Communications Command. He displayed all the qualities of a true military professional and leader who always inspired others to follow his example. It is sad and heartfelt to lose such a man, friend, and mentor. Thank you for your service Walt. My deepest condolences to the entire Flammond family. "To live in the hearts of those we leave behind, is to never...

I was stationed at Ft. Huachuca, AZ from 1991-1994 and had the privilege of working with SGM Flammond. He was an inspiration to be around. When he retired, I took the opportunity to enroll in a framing class from him. I sure found out quickly that framing and matting is no easy task. His detail was amazing! All these years later, I still possess artwork framed by him. During this difficult time I wish his family strength, comfort and condolences!

I am very thankful for love and care he gave to my mom,I truly appreciate all the different experiences of living, going to threw the army with Walter ,the different countries I'm grateful for all he did for me and hope he is with my mother and in peace and not pain anymore

Beloved brother-in-law, protector of our nation. Tell Carol I said Hi when you see her in Heaven!
