Walter Fomuk, 77, of Melrose, New York, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, operator of Madison Grill in Troy, New York, died at Samaritan Hospital on Sunday, January 13, 2002. Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday, January 16, 2002, 4-8 p.m., at Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third Street, Troy. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, January 17, 9 a.m., at the funeral home. Religious services are scheduled for Thursday, 9:30 a.m., at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Interment will be at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Troy. Memorial donations are appreciated to Hospice of Renss. County, 295 Valley View Boulevard, Renss., NY 12144 or a charity of the donor's choosing. Arrangements entrusted to Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, Troy, New York.

My prayers are with you all. I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of growing up on 10th Street and alot of them are connected to time spent with your family. I know I speak for alot of people when I say Mr. Fomuk was a wonderful man who will be missed.
