I met the Fosters through Moko while I was at Willamette Law. I didn't have any local family, and they were so kind and generous, inviting me to their home and family for Easter dinner and on weekends. They were so gracious and open-hearted. I was honored to know both of them.

Your mom Marian was such a loyal friend to my mom Margaret Letterman thru the years. She was a classy, interesting, kind woman.

I remember Walter and Philip when I lived in Clackamas in 1930-33. I graduated 8th grade in 1930 when Mrs. Hartman was the principal.
