Not sure what to say?

Our sincere condolences to the family of Walter (Bud) Funk. I'm so sorry that I was not able to be at Bud's memorial service to see all of you and express my sympathy in person. I first remeber "Bud" from when I was about 4 yrs old at the Manning Dairy store where he used to serve me ice cream cones. Later years when my mother Norma and "Bud's" sister Evelyn used to go to see him when he was in his residency at the hospital. Don't remember if it was Deaconess or Metro. They also used to buy...

I offer my sincere condolence to the Funk family for the loss of your father.

The few times I visited your family, he was always warm and welcoming. Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your father/grandfather. We knew Dr. Funk for a long time, due to our father, Richard Schlegel. He was a very kind man and he will be missed.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Walter (Bud) Funk. We have all lost a good and gentle man.
As a skilled and compassionate surgeon, loyal friend and fine family man he has left a legacy of service and love to all of us.
We first met in college, both fresh out of the Navy and that friendship has endured and strengthened over the past 62 years
The many good times our families shared are precious memories. I am grateful to have shared his life and am proud to call him friend.

To the Funk Family-
Our deepest sympathies in the loss of your father. Your parents were always so welcoming to your friends. I'm certain they will receive a warm welcome in heaven.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
