I will never forget the dancing bear who magically appeared while Ann Jones and I were singing at a birthday party for Walter in the 1980s. Ann and I were as surprised as everyone else. A great cardiologist and friend. It was my honor to work with Walter for so many years.

Walter was such an amazing, kind person. He often joined me for lunch at Children´s Hospital when we would catch up and share stories of our day. I enjoyed his company so much.He really touched my life and will be missed by all that knew him. He did a lot for many people and was one of the nicest people I´ve met in my life. RIP Sweet Walter.

I have so many wonderful memories of Walter from a ship launch in Bath, helping install a wood stove, decorating a 2+ story tree, planting two pine trees from Maine here in Mass, wonderful talks about pretty much any topic to a picture of my wife in her wedding dress we will always treasure. An amazing man and an amazing partnership with Anne.
