Not sure what to say?

My most heartfelt and sincere condoloenses to Mrs. Gamble and the entire family . I feel this passing so deeply as I was one of Dr. Gambles success stories back in the early 60's. He cared for me until his retirment and stood by me in personal trials I endured in my young years. He always said we were "his kids", and would always need special support in our lives. He honored this as I remember having a personal home number and the Maine vacation home number for any time needed, and I do...

Dr. Gamble was the doctor who first took care of me when I had my pacemaker implanted at the age of 16 (1981). He continued to care for me until he retired from Children's Hospital. He was a wonderful, caring man. I feel extraordinarily lucky to have had him in my life. I will always be grateful for his kindness and compassion. I send my heartfelt condolences to his wife and children.

Falter and I work together in my company called QR scan in Brookline in the 1980s and we helped save the life of a blue baby that was being farmed by Salem Hospital in independent hospital at that time from certain death the child was transferred to Children's Hospital in Boston which did have the technology to perform the operation that Salem Hospital did not it was a very very interesting time Walter and I became good friends from this situation

Dr. & Mrs Gamble paid for my son's medical school. In turn, my son has saved many lives and led quality improvement efforts. Thank you !

My deepest sympathies...

Thank you to Dr and Mrs Gamble for their endless generosity to the medical students of the University of Pennsylvania. Would that there were more like them.

So sad. A wonderful caring doctor who saved my son´s life with the care and pacemaker..my condolences to his family

I will never forget the dancing bear who magically appeared while Ann Jones and I were singing at a birthday party for Walter in the 1980s. Ann and I were as surprised as everyone else. I blame Loring. Every time I hear "Waltzing With Bears", I think of Walter and smile. "We told Uncle Walter that he should be good And do all the things that we said that he should But we know that he´d rather be off in the woods We´re afraid that we´ll lose him, lose him for good." Bless you, Walter, for...
