Not sure what to say?

I have a painting of Walter's. It was a gift to my grandmother who was one of his students in a YWCA painting class. I love it. It is currently in my livingroom. I have memories of going to the Y with my grandmother to her painting class. She loved her painting class and we enjoyed Walter. She fondly talked about him. His memory lives on. :) Kim Murray My grandmother was Margaret Sager.

Happy Birthday, Grandpap. We honor and celebrate you today. We miss you so deeply and love you so very much.

This Tuesday, September 30, 2008, it will be one year since my Grandpap Walt passed away. One year since Grandpap Walt joined my dear Grandma Mag, my great Aunt Helen, my dear mother Emma and father Steve in heaven. Our family has experienced so much loss in so little time. I find comfort in knowing that we have so many loved ones in the spirit world - so much good, positive energy on the other side. They are all watching over us. I know that my grandpap, Walt, would want all of us to...

Happy Birthday, Grandpap. This past Friday you would have been 91. I miss you so very much and think of you all of the time. You are so very dear to me, Grandpappy. I know that you are with Grandma, Mom, and Dad and watching over all of us on this side. I love you and Happy Birthday, Kate

Dear Kate and Regis,

I'm so sorry about your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family.
After reading both of your entries, I felt as if I've always known your grandpap too! I can imagine what a beautiful human being he was. Full of life and love. Kate, you must be a reflection of him. In the time we've been friends, I see those exact qualities that you decribed in him, in you. You are something special and although he's gone, you reflect so many of his quality and have touch...

Dear Kate and Family,
My deepest sympathies go out to you. Kate, I know that your grandpap held a very special place in your heart, and I am sure his memories will continue to fill that place, even though he is physically gone. He was a very talented man, and will continue to touch this world with the artwork he has left behind.

Kate and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Your grandfather sounds like such a wonderful man. His paintings are beautiful and are such a wonderful way to show to all how special he truly was. These are such difficult times, the loss of a family member. Keep up your strength and take care of yourself. Although you just started here at CSU, you are a part of our family. We are here for you.

I was so very sorry to hear of his passing but he is not gone - he will never be gone as long as we cherish and remember him through his art. He will live on through that and always be in the hearts of the people he knew.

Dear Kate and Family of Walter,

I have only recently entered your life as a colleague at Cleveland State. Yet, my relationship with you seems older, more developed than the few months we have known each other. I remember the day I stopped by to visit your office and see all the wonderful artifacts that represent you and your life. You spoke so lovingly and admiringly of your grandfather as you showed me his artwork. I find you to be a warm, open, caring person with great strength...
