I miss Walter. We have a long but intermittent history. We "lost contact" about 20 years ago, but saw each other at the Montclair State reunion in 2018. I hoped this renewed our contact. Phone calls and letters received no response, however. I never found out why. Nevertheless, he was sincere, kind and generous and more so than most, and I will always miss him. Mr. G, On behalf of the Class of 78', I thank you for your guidance, determination, commitment, leadership, and love for the students of University HS (formerly SWAS). A truly miraculous feeling , which we shared lovingly with Walter throughout...

Walter: A gentler heart we´ve never known than that which now lies still; it now must beat within our own for so it is God´s will. And so gentle heart, kind soul we must trust His will; To lift you up and make you whole and let thy peace be still.
