Walter Henry Giberson

Walter Henry �Dody Bragg� Giberson 69 of Wright Mountain Road, Rock went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born in Bluefield on May 29, 1940, he was the son of the late John Henry and Elsie Mae Bragg. He was retired with the City of Bluefield with over 25 years service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twin brothers, Billy and Bobby, one sister, Virginia Ruth Miller and one brother, James Richard Bragg. Survivors include his wife of 33 years Helen Martin Six Children Danny Eugene Giberson and Debbie of Bluewell, Walter Wayne Giberson and wife Audra of Princeton, Cathy Giberson of Walkertown, NC, Tina Baker and husband Tom, James Giberson and April Clyburn, and Crystal Harris and husband Jessie all of Princeton Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren Four Siblings Arthur �Red� Giberson and wife Jean of Pensacola, FL Anna Marie Cardwell and Wayne Bragg both of Princeton, and Mary Cadle and husband Roger of Bluefield Special Friend Phyllis Poole of Princeton and his longtime companion, his dog Bell Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Reverend Jeff Beckett and Jimmy Bassett officiating. Burial will follow in the Giberson Family Cemetery on Wright Mountain, Rock. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 6 to 8 PM.
