Walt was quick to welcome John to RCA Labs in 1953, and taught John in the ways of color tv research. A reliable sounding board for new ideas. We enjoyed seeing Walt and Jan at Hilton Head a couple of years ago.

I was sorry to hear from John Bowker that Walt had passed away. I worked with Walt during the 60's and early 70'2 at RCA Labs and I always enjoyed talking to him.

Saddened to hear the news. Walt was for many years a valued coleague at RCA and a dear friend of our family.We remember sailing trips with Walt. And when we broke our backstay in the middle of Bequia channel, his was the coolest head on board.
