My former middle school gym teacher and High School track coach. Always pushed us to be great and we were. We got to spend some personal time with him and coach Juba after winning the district meet race and spending 2 days out in Shippensburg for the state track meet. R.I.P. Coach

Susan-- saddened and sorry to hear of Walt's passing. I got to know Walt at Keystone, he was a great athlete but even a greater 'guy'. My condolences to you and your family.

Really sad to see this. Walter was a good friend I grew up with in the Sloan Patch area of West Scranton. Still have great memories of the good times the guys in the Patch had growing up. Walter was a football and track star for West Scranton High School, but best of all - he was a great guy. I see by the comments that he remained that way his whole life.
