I participated in a couple of artisan festivals with Walt and was so impressed with this kind and talented man. I purchased a box from Walt that I keep by my chair at all times. It holds my sewing supplies. I see that he lived a long time after I last saw him in Crosslake. I have some wonderful photos from 2010 that I would love to share.

I have thought of Walt so many times over the years not being able to have our wood carvers shows. I remember sitting down beside him letting him direct me how to chip carve the way he did it. Such a great memory for me. I so loved knowing him through out the years. He is greatly missed but now is in heaven with his loved ones.
