Not sure what to say?

Miss you Joey! Me and your God daughter Alyssa Hope think about you all the time.... watch over us!

I worked in CICU with Joey at Geisinger Medical Center. I was one of the senior members of the nursing staff when Joey walked through the doors that first day of orientation and we all knew he was really something.
Joey was a wonderful nurse always thinking of his patients needs, very protective of their care and VERY particular about what he did. He was a team player always willing to help a hand or give advice, he was so intelligent. We were all aware that he would continue on with his...

Joey was unlike any other. He had a very infectious personality, the kind that made you feel like you knew him forever even if you had just met. He had a large circle of friends that are so close knit it was like having an extended family. He was one of the most kind, caring, genuine and generous people i have ever had the pleasure of calling a friend. He had a huge love for food and his friends, when the 2 were combined it made for some of the best times and conversations. Many laughs were...

I didn't know Joey very long or very well, but I am deeply saddened to hear of his loss. He was a regular at the salon I work at and it was always a pleasure doing his hair. Joey was a genuine, kind soul who I enjoyed seeing and talking to. He will be missed by all of us. My condolences to all of Joey's family and friends.

Joey was a bright, kind-hearted, upstanding man and his laughter was infectious. He had a strong personality that would have been great in an off-Broadway theatre. Vaya con dios, Mr. Hager.

Joey had a big group of friends, and we all thought of him like family. He was always around for a lot of happy memories. He was always quick to show his appreciation for people. I have a lot of great memories with him and our friends. The last time I saw him was the week before he passed. We liked a lot of the same music and i requested a bunch of songs that we liked to be played and we sang along to them. He kept saying it was a really fun night. We all loved Joey a lot, and...

I worked with Joey in the CCU at Geisinger Medical Center. He was a wonderful, fun person to work with, dedicated to excellence, and inspiring to those around him. I especially enjoyed his sarcastic sense of humor.
This is one specific memory. In the CCU we used to have to retape the patients' endotracheal tubes each night. Joey was very particular about this and would only let certain people help him. One night he asked me to help him. I replied sarcastically that I was honored...

My condolences to the family, co-workers, and friends. Joey's boisterous and joyful appearance and his love for helping others, singing and dancing was contagious. I will miss our talks. Rest in peace, Sweet Angel.
