Walter Friedrich Hahn

So sorry to hear of Walt's passing. When I was a broke, single-mother/student my muffler started to fail. He first suggested that the whole exhaust had to be replaced ($1,000.00+!) but when I told him I was broke, etc., he went into his office and came out with a pop can and proposed to cut it and clamp it over the part of the muffler that was a problem. Charged me some nominal amount - I mean really nominal - and that fix held for years. I think of him whenever I drive by the old shop...

I have many fond memories of Walter. A very kind and giving person. J. Thad Schork
