Not sure what to say?

It was just recently that I heard of the passing of Walter Hannon . Truely , a great great man . I know it has been a while since Walter has passed but I just had to extend my sympathies . A very unique individual that made a tremendous and positive impression and effect upon me that I have never forgotten and very grateful for .

Each time I pass the beautiful monument at the head of the roadway bearing Walter's name I'm quickly reminded of what an extraordinary leader he was and a great friend. May he rest in peace for all his good work.

So sorry to read about his passing, although it's been many years, I sill remember his great sense of humor and ready smile.

Sorry to hear of Mayor Hannon's passing. I remember when he used to come over to Davis Street to visit his friend Johnny Wright who lived next door to us. I bumped into him about 10 years back in the supermarket and he was the same as always, nice man and pleasant to talk to. He did a great job for Quincy. His influence will be remembered for generations. Rest in Peace, Walter.

So sorry to hear. Mr Hannon was a true professional. He was a family man and a friend. Always made you feel welcome. May he rest in peace.

Mrs. Hannon, Walter and family,
I am so very sad to hear of your dads passing. He was a great man that everyone loved. He will be missed by all. Our prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Barry and Barbara Gilfeather

He was a truly wonderful person and a great dad and granddad. I know how dearly you all loved him and will cherish your many moments in Maine and Quincy.
