Walter Lee Harkey III

We got to know Lee after Jason & Lisa were engaged. Lee, my husband Paul and I shared the pleasure of parent/grandparent rolls after their marriage. He was a beautiful man and I am so happy that I had the pleasure of spending time with him during holidays, birthdays and lots of football games. He will surely be missed but remains in our hearts. Rest in Peace Lee. Patty & Paul

Lee was my Dad's younger sister's son and we knew each other from our first memories on. His family would come to NC or we would go to Palatka on holidays. We would swim, climb trees, ride bikes and just hang out. He was always my favorite cousin to visit and I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. May peace be with his family and children.

My condolences to his family and close friends. Are you only new leave from work and I enjoyed his company every time we were together. The sample of his life that he shared with those of us who worked with him was to our benefit and an absolute joy. May the Holy Spirit comfort those during your loss and bring you closer to the Lord ...this I asked in the name of Jesus,...amen.

Harkey it was such a great pleasure to have worked with you for all those years at FOS. You were a wonderful example of what a true gentleman was. Thank you for always looking out for me and I will see you again. Sending many prayers to your family and know you will be missed.

I wanted to extend my heartfelt condolences to you during this difficult time. I had the privilege of calling Lee a friend co-worker and even worked for him at different times with Florida Power & Light and serving as a labor representative. I witnessed firsthand his exceptional fairness, empathy, and consideration for others. All around good guy that you would want on your side.
