A WISH FOR YOU

I'll make a wish for you
and hope it will come true,
if life will just be kind,
to such a gentle mind,
and if you lose your way
think back on yesturday
remember me that way,
I'll be right behind your
shoulder, watching you.
I'll be standing by your side, what ever you do and I won't ever leave as long as you believe, you just believe. For God Said it well come true someday, that I will see you.
Take Care Doris.

Dear Doris...
I also have nothing but happy, smiley memories of Wally. Even at Mother's funeral he was smiling and uplifting. We know he and Mother are up there watching over you, Bob and me. And with those two angels, we are going to be just fine.
He will be sorely missed.

I worked with Walter at the City of Grapevine and just wanted to express my sympathy to Walter's family.

We know Walter is in better hands now. I'll never forget the assistance he gave me in trying to make some of Grapevine's historic homes comply with current building codes. Walter - thank you so much for your appreciation and understanding of historic buildings.

My thoughts and prayers go to Walter's family, friends and loved ones.

Doris,

My memories of Wally are happy ones, laughing and being at ease wherever he found himself. His curious nature probably has him poking into all sorts of nooks and crannies now, and will be there to guide the rest of us, as usual. He was very dear.
My heart goes out to you, because Wally’s absence will surely leave an enormous empty space.
You have had a rough go of it - I wish you peace.

Friend and cousin,
Barbie Moore Easterwood

I am sorry for your loss. I work at the Grapevine City Hall and even though I did not work with Walter directly - he was a very nice man.

I know the Lord will be with your family in your sorrow.

Walter, no matter how bad you were feeling, you always had a smile on your face and a story to tell. You spoke so highly of your beautiful wife and wonderful children. You will be missed by many.

Doris,
I'm very sorry to hear about Walters passing. It was such a shock to all of us. He was always upbeat and optimistic about his recovery. You could ask him pretty much at any time how he was feeling and he would say, "I'm doing better", "better than yesterday".
He always had such a variety of music playing at his work station, you could hear him humming or singing along with it. It's hard to know exactly what to say at a time like this. I pray that the Lord will give you...

I worked with Walter for two years at the City of Grapevine. Walter was a great asset to our Building Inspection Department. He was a kind and gracious man and very well respected. I always enjoyed hearing interesting stories of his past. Walter had a great love for music. Everyday he would have a different CD playing, anything from Rock and Roll and Classical to Bluegrass and Native American music. I will really miss Walter, but it's assuring to know that he is in a much better place.
