I loved him and looked up to him like a father. He was certainly a most wonderful person. I would have liked to have been there, but I know that as Walt loved his Country and his Navy, it is because of that for which I am away. God Bless him, God Bless Mimi, God Bless all of his friends and family. Fair Winds and Following Seas, Uncle Walt. Ahoy!

What a guy! What a teriffic guy! Always the optimist, ready to try anything, loved his critics and his Gulfstream 2. His ideas on solar energy are just beginning to take shape, but thirty years later. I would bet his tractor was solar-powered!

Mary George and family - so sad about Walt's sudden passing. We always admired Walt and his love of life - the fullest possible life, and such a wonderful man. Please be good to yourself in this most difficult time.
