Not sure what to say?

My sincerest condolences are with the Hocker/Ulans family during this time of sorrow. I remember when I was at Pamela's shower at the Hocker's house years ago. When I was ready to leave I realized that my car had no gas in it. Mr. Hocker would not hear of me leaving until he filled up my car with gas. A true gentleman! I will always remember that act of kindness. He was an exceptional human being and his memory will be eternal.

To the Hocker family,
Draw close to God and he will draw close to you at your time of need. My sympathy to the family.

My prayers for Mr. Hocker, two of my very best friends dad when I was growing up, I was at the house pretty much every day! Always a constant reminder of faith, family and an amazing example of the word Father. There is so much to say, but I want to just share a story. I wish to extend my condolences to the Hocker family. May the God of tender mercies and of all comfort be with you during this time of grief and sorrow.

So sorry to hear of Walter's death. He will be greatly missed on Peaks.
The best to all the family.
Joan and Bernie Smith, Peaks Island

We are so saddened to learn of Mick's passing. He was such a good friend and neighbor to my parents and an invaluable help to me during my tenure as curator at the Fifth Maine. He was a fixture on the island and will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the Most High God comfort you during these difficult days. (Psalm 83:18)
