Not sure what to say?

I worked with Walt at the City of Jacksonville. He was a wonderful person, generous with this time and knowledge. He's missed here at the city and I will miss his occasional call or email or sending my run-on cards to him! His stories always made me smile. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you.

My Condolenses to the Hogrefe Family, Mr. Hogrefe's sister Alice Sherwood is my grandmother who resides in San Jose Ca. My Father lives in Missouri and I live in Jacksonville, Florida. America has not only lost a great man, but also a veteran.

To The Hogrefe Family,
Both my husband and I worked with Walt in the Public Works Dept. of the City of Jacksonville. He was a dear colleague and always a gentleman. As a new employee in Engineering, I depended on him for on the job training, especially regarding the background of projects and procedures that occured prior to my employment. He was a wealth of information and never minded "sharing" his knowledge of the City with others.

Our prayers are with the entire Hogrefe...

Walt was instrumental in engineering many things for the city. As a city council aid, I worked with him on some projects for Dist. 5 and he was always knowledgable, helpful and attentive to our needs. My condolences to you and your family.
