Uncle Walt was my Dad's brother. Like my Dad, he wa shighly gifted. His life was cut too short.

Joan, I was so lucky to see your dad when I visited in January. His humor and one-liners I will never forget - and his love of chocolate. He was a joy to be around and you were lucky to have him for so long. I will keep your family in my prayers.

I have very fond memories of visiting Jean and Walter as a child at their lake home. They were always so kind as to what I learned we are our families "shirt tail cousins". Plus visiting the store as a child left burned memories into my head-the smell, the squeaky wood floor and the kindness of Walter serving people. Over my years I have learned to value these qualities. The impressions and memories he has left behind are lasting.

Gary & I wish to express our deepest sympathies on the passing of your Dad. I do remember his dry humor....especially when we came down to the Toy Store to ponder what we were going to beg for next...'member all the Barbie Doll stuff......many memories.....we'll keep you all in our prayers.
