Walter Jankowski

Was stationed with Walter at Truax in early 60's. Quite a guy.

It is a great deal of sadness to hear that Walt has passes away. I've known Walt for more than 40 years, being the architect for the Kruchtens at Waunakee Manor. I missed meeting Walt in the lobby for him to smile and touch my stomach with a pointed finger telling me that I need to reduce. My condolences to his entire family. His comfort has been long overdue. Ed Solner

When I use to entertain at the Manor, Walter would assist me in setup of my accordion & amplifier. He truly enjoyed the old time music and I always dedicated a song to him. He was a joy to be around and I will always remember his huge smile. He will truly be missed. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

One special guy when we would sing at the Manor on Monday nights once a month. Sympathy and prayers for comfort for his family.

I worked with Walt for years at Citgo gas station. He was well liked by all the neighborhood people who stopped in. All of us at Marc East have great memories!! Sorry to the family

I worked at Waunakee Manor for years. I remember seeing Walter helping with residents. He was always positive and happy. He was amazing and will always remember Walter and his huge heart. Much love to all those who remember him.
