Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry about the loss of my friend, Whitey. I have known him since 1971. We performed together in Gold in the Hills and with the Mississippi Opera. He was a very talented actor and singer and I learned much from him. His stories and jokes were always uplifting. Whitey loved his family very much. You are in my prayers at this sad time.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

David, Lee, Rhonda, Derek and family,
My condolences on the loss of your dad. He was a fine man and he will be missed.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Walter Johnston, Jr. I played his sidekick "Slade" in Gold in the Hills for at least 7 years (late 70's to early 80's). Whitey was always very professional and took me under his wing and taught me "the ropes" about how to do melodrama. I will always remember his kindness and his smile to all the cast members as well as the audience after each show. He will always be my favorite "Villain".
